Zack Vasquez, Biff Boswell

It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon here in sunny S. Florida - God, I love living here, and I don't think I'd want to live anywhere else in the country, to be honest.  Every single day that you wake up here, it is 'paradise.'  I'm tempted to go to the beach or in the very least the pool to enjoy a bit of the day outside.

This weekend is just a relaxing weekend, spaced in between 2 shooting weekends.  Last weeekend we had a great shoot, despite some changes.  The other model Max Whitisaire kinda flaked out at the last minute, but it worked out, because a professional photographer showed up and did an excellent job.  Hector Rodriguez is a tremendous photographer, and you can check out his work in the 'Photo Journal' - every single photo in the blue shorts was taken by him.  I also added a link to his website in the 'Blogroll,' so check that out too!  Besides doing the photos with him, we did a second arm workout, of which I posted a few clips into the Video Blog, take a look at that too!

Next weekend, I will have a very very busy weekend.  We are shooting on Saturday again with 2 other models - Biff Boswell and Zack Vasquez.  Both have modeled extensively, so it should be a great shoot.  Zack has even been featured in Playgirl and MEN magazine, so he's definitely done some high-level stuff.  I think we are going to train chest and abs.

Last night, I cheated a little bit.  I went to The Grand Lux Cafe and had their Mongolian Beef with white rice and flat bread.  It was excellent, and I really recommend that place to anyone and everyone!  Great food and decor!  Generally, this close to a shoot, I don't eat white rice or flat bread, and when I eat 'beef' it is without salt, but I feel like my metabolism is high enough that by next Saturday, I'll still be in top shape.

I'm going to grab some lunch right now (grilled chicken breast)

Click above for one of the clips from last weekend - it's some posing followed by tricep pressdown.  Kudos to Alex for doing such a stellar job filming!

terrell joiner: I wrote you before but I am a type 2 diabetic and just got out of the ospital for a toe removal I came really close to losing my leg my doctor told me diabetis is a very unforgiving disease. But I always crave junk food and I guess it will slowly kill me. a toe here a foot tomorrow and a leg next year. I want to show this disease who is boss but I love to eat. this disease is one big NO.

ronray: Peter, I just watched your latest video clip. I didn't realize you could use the straight bar for tricep press downs. Usually, I use the rope attachment. I can press 90 lbs with the rope. I'll try the bar next time I do my arms. I'm an ectomorph, so the leanness in my physique makes it easier to see the definition in my muscles. Different guys in my gym lift heavy, but I've always opted for muscle definition. I get compliments from different people on my arms because my deltoids, biceps, triceps and forearms are defined. I have a strong grip too for my build because I hang from the pull-up bar. People are impressed whenever I give them a firm handshake. Are sugars in fruit as bad as refined sugar? I eat cottage cheese with pineapple before I go to bed every night. It's like dessert to me now. I haven't tried the Casein powder yet and I still have to try your Basa Fish recipe. Take care Pete.

Steven Fiedler: Peter is my personal trainer, he is the best trainer I have ever had, he is very demanding and is always pushing for me to do more. I have fun even though it is hard for me to get to the gym, needless to say, his body is more like a piece of art in the human form. He is also a very nice, friendly guy, no attitude at all.
