Wheat Germ Tilapia
Posted on Thursday January 31, 2008 by Pete
This is a great recipe for anyone, but for those specifically on The Spartan Diet. Gabriel the other day asked in the Q & A part of the site about recipes for the Spartan Diet, so here is one for you, Gabriel. This is very easy to make, as you'll see as you watch the video.
Ingredients:
1 lb of tilapia
Wheat Germ
Black Pepper
Assorted Dry herbs (cilantro, Mrs. Dash No Sodium seasonings)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour wheat germ and dry herbs into a bowl. Take pieces of tilapia and pat into the bowl until the wheat germ and dry herbs stick. Pour excess wheat germ/dry herbs on top of the tilapia once all filets are in the cooking tray.
Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

randy not adonis: my favorite seafood is Tilapia but I have been missing the "fried" fish crust since I have trying to eat healthy. The wheat germ crust is absolutely perfect substitution.02/01/2008
