Supplement Test

So, I'm sure a lot of you read through the various fitness magazines, and see outrageous claims like gain 7 lbs in 7 days, and the like. As an informed consumer it is difficult to separate the wheat from the chaft. I've been reading and hearing a lot lately about USP Labs 'Asteroid Stack,' which is non-hormonal and consists of 3 products (Anabolic Pump, Prime, and Powerfull). I started taking the 3 products on 11.11.08, and weighed in at 220 lbs - it is a 4 to 6 week cycle, so I'm hoping to weigh in at 225 to 230 lbs after the 4 weeks, we'll see.
Regardless of whether these particular products from this company are effective, the future of fitness supplementation is to move away from the steroidal and/or hormonal supplements, which are supremely effective, but also have negative side effects in many. The next generation of supplements, whether that be today, 2 years from now, 10 years from now, etc will be developing products with steroidal like results, but without altering your hormones, hence without the side effects. (SARMS, myostatin inhibitors, and other products) I'm not sure the supplement industry is just there yet, but it will be in the near future. This should be exciting for many of you who have abstained from steroids and pro-hormones, but would like gain that extra 10 to 15 lbs of muscle.
I will keep you posted on the progress that I make by USP Labs asteroid stack, and let you all know if it is worth the $150 that I spent on it. My feeling is - if I can go at least 5 lbs, it will be worth the $150, but I'm hoping maybe I can gain even a bit more than that, time will tell.
