Shoulder/Trap/Calf Workout
Posted on Wednesday December 19, 2007 by Pete

So, I just finished filming myself cooking a buffalo chili.  I'll post it on the site tomorrow.  I got a Trojan virus on my laptop, so it is in the computer shop getting fixed, but I should have it back sometime tomorrow, so check back for that tomorrow night.  I really enjoy doing the cooking segments; it's a lot of fun, but it's also tough to do though, because I'm a 1 man show.  When we do the fitness videos that you see in the 'Video Journal' my friend Alex does the videography, and I have a makeup person, but for the home cooking segments, I set my Canon GL2 on the tripod, and just roll, lol.  So, if I mess up, I just keep going, but for the most part, I think I've been doing a good job.  I flip the viewfinder over, so I can see what is actually being filmed.

I had a really strong shoulder/trap/calf workout today.  I had a few personal training cancellations, so I was able to really take my time in the gym today.  My schedule is such where I generally arrive at the gym at 3 and have to finish by 415 for my first client at 430, so even if I'm not done at 415, I have to stop and have my protein shake and get ready for my client, but today I was able to go a bit longer.  Also, even before I started training, I was really happy because I weighed in at 221 lbs, which I 'm so ecstastic about - I've been able to add 11 lbs since my photo shoot in LA, so I'm walking around much bigger and stronger.  The weight that I've added is quality too, because my abs are still popping.  :-)

Here is my Shoulder/Trap/Calf workout today.

Alisa: National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged they had funded a project with the US auto makers for the past five years. The NTSB covertly funded a project whereby the auto makers were installing black boxes in four wheel drive pickup trucks in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash. They were surprised to find in 49 of the 50 states the last words of drivers in 61.2% of fatal crashes were, "Oh, Shit!" Only the state of Texas was different, where 89.3% of the final words were, "Hey Y'all, hold my beer and watch this!"
