Question and Answer Session - Feeling Better -

I took the last week off from the gym, as I came down with flu-like symptoms. I'm starting to feel better, with fatigue being the only remaining symptom, and I'm hoping by the end of this week, I'll be as 'good as new.' Here are some questions that I answered this afternoon.
'Hi Peter, OK, I have joined a fitness club. It's a very nice place and I love all the great equipment available to me. The only problem now is I get aches and pains from all the working out. I thought I was supposed to feel refreshed and renewed, but all I feel is achy. Mostly in the morning before work and while working. I've tried Alieve, but the commercials aren't true. It didn't work. What should I do? I have tried the hot tub at the club, but that dosen't help me in the morning. I just don't want this to discourage me and make me quit working out. '
'Hey Pete I am 5'11, 185lbs. but still have a belly. I'm wanting to get started on a workout/diet plan I just don't know where to begin. I don't have a gym membership. I use to jog a lot but the only results I came across was loosing weight, going from 220 to 185. You can tell I've lost weight but I wanna be more lean. Please help I would appreciate your advice, thank you very much.. Chris'
'Hi Pete. I'm a 26 yo. hispanic male. I've been trainig for about 2 years 4 to 5 times a week. But form some reason my body does not get ripped or i do not get bigger at least not as much i would like to. I consume protein, train every body part once a week, eat healthy, some carbs so i can increase body mass, but no big diference whatsoever. Can you give an advice on how to gey ripped and bigger on a reasonable amount of time, to be honest some times i just get frustrated and i think that this is a waste of time. And one more thing, i dont have a six pack or anything close to it, there is at least 5 to 7 pound of fat around my belly (maybe more). It is not noticeable when im standing actually i look pretty slim but when i sit down that fat goes foward my stomach and I just dont like it; looks like half of a basketball around my abdomen.By the way i do some cardio but those last pounds are difficult to get rid of. How can i makem it flatter and firm probably not to have a six pack anytime soon but at least something that would look good when taking my shirt off. Thank u ill be looking foward to your anwser. PS: I work and go to school, what can i can take before going to the gym so it can boost my energy, I actually end up pretty tired by the time i workout.'
