"Hello, I am 20 years old and have been working out about 4 times a week for 6 months. i lift weights, do chest, back, arm exercises. I have a very fast metabolism and if i do too much cardio i thin up. I want to gain more muscle mass in my chest, shoulder, arm, and back area.. What can i do to gain more muscle weight? "

"hey i was just wondering what your thought was on weight loss shakes and what ones you recommend. thanks"

"Hi Pete, I'm 21 yrs. old. I'm 5'll and Weigh 158 lbs. I was pretty big my entire life up until this past year when I really got serious about my body. The only thing is I can't get my abs to show. I have followed a high protein diet and still nothing yet. I eat healthy? but it seems as though I can't get enough calories in. My body fat usually is around 15-14%. I'm new to the fitness world so any advice would really help. Thank you."

Pecs Admirer: YOUR chest just keeps getting thicker. YOU know what YOU are talking about.

Peter Adonis: Mikep - Not only will you be assymetrical, but you won't build the muscle that you could, because the leg has such room for muscle growth due to its sheer size. In addition, when you train legs you release the most amount of natural hgh and testosterone which further enables you to synthesize new muscle. -Peter Adonis

mikep: Peter...great response to the first question. What are the ramifications if you do not train legs. Say your your upper body is not that blasted out...do you still need to train legs if symmetry is not an issue?

David G NYC: Peter - I haven't checked your site for quite a while, and first you look better than ever. Your arms are much bigger, and the pump on your pecs is amazing (fully rounded - top, mid and lower chest - impressive). I'm 52, and really struggling to get leaner in my midsection. I can't seem to drop stomach weight, even though my weight and cardio workouts are showing good results (muscles increasing, and endurance and pulse much better). Any good over-50 belly-off advice? Be well, David G NYC

Angel: Hey Pete my name is Angel I'm a 21 year old male (5'6" tall and weigh 158-159 lbs) What do you recommend for me to be my ideal weight if I want to gain muscle being how tall I am? I am a thin guy and maintain myself by eating healthily and I do my lifting here and there but not to the extreme. I wish you were my personal trainer, I'm sorry for this comment but I just had to say it anyway thanks for the advice.

Austin: Thanks for responding to my last question. I have chosen to get my abs to show. I have also been working out on a bowflex ultimate2 for the past year as well to get my muscle up, so I need to eat more veggies to get them to pop, correct? Any ab training exercises you think might be helpul for me? I also drink a protein shake as well.
