Model Profile: Jacob Lundqvist
Posted on Monday February 09, 2009 by Pete

Jacob is a 21 yr old model from Sweden who has been writing into the blog for some time now - I've helped him keep his body in shape for his modeling goals.  He is from the Southern part of Sweden, and is studying to be a personal trainer and nutritionist.  His modeling career began a year ago when his sister's friend asked him to do some photos for her portfolio.  He's a done a few photoshoots, but has spent the majority of his time on the catwalk.  Here are 3 of his pictures, and maybe someday if he ventures across the Atlantic, we can do a training video for the blog.

___________

What is your Name? Age? Height? Weight?
Jacob Lundqvist, I am 21 years old, I am 6.2 tall and my current weight is 179 lbs

How did you get into modeling?
My sisters friend asked me to help her with her portfolio. I thought it was really funny and took some photos for my portfolio and showed the pictures to some people in the business and they told me I was talented.

What type of modeling experience do you have?
I have mostly been on the catwalk in different fashion shows. I have also done some jobs for Swedish clothes brands such as J.Lindeberg and Salming.
My biggest job was when I did some photos and an interview for a Swedish women magazine called "Vecko Revyn".

What is your current training routine?
I try to train like a bodybuilder. So my routine looks like this chest, legs, back, shoulders and arms.
I do 6-10 reps and 3-4 sets on every exercise.
The closer I come to a photoshoot the more drop-sets and super-sets I do so I get a cardiovascular affect.
Every three to four weeks I change my programme so I can shock the body to develope more musclemass.
I also do HIIT cardio 3-4 times a week to keep that sixpack. I do a full sprint for one minute and power-walks for one minute.

How has the RandyBlueRipped.com helped you in your fitness regimen?
I dont even think I would try to be a fitness model without Peter. I saw Peter on MTV a year ago and according to me he had the perfect physique. That really got me motivated to train hard and eat the way I should.
Im a Personnel trainer and nutrionist student so RandyBlueRipped.com is a great source for honest information.
My favorite section is the Q&A section. There I can really get good information how I should train my future clients.
It has also helped me with how I should eat and train before a photoshoot.

What are your future goals in life?
Right now Im focusing on getting my personnel trainer and nutrionist license.
I want to be a fitness model and compete in natural bodybuilding in the future.
Maybe I will go to USA this summer and try to show my portfolio for some agencys.
