Buffalo Chili First Clip
Posted on Saturday December 22, 2007 by Pete

It's a beautiful Saturday here in S. Florida, I have my windows streaming wide open, and there is a nice crisp breeze coming into my condo.  (I'm sure everyone in the NorthEast is cursing me as they read that first sentence, lol).  I'm having my oatmeal, wheat germ, whey protein, cinnamon, soy milk concoction right now and am going to train arms later on today.

We are having issues with the video uploader, but I'm hoping that it is fixed soon.  The Buffalo Chili was broken down into 3 video clips, and the first is loading properly, but the others aren't, so I'll post this one today, and hopefully tonight or tomorrow, I'll post the other two.

Ingredients:
1 Red Onion
1 Red Pepper
Fresh Sage
Fresh Oregano
Fresh Basil
Baby Spinach
1 can of kidney beans (rinsed)
1 lb of ground buffalo meat
Wheat Germ
Baby Bella Mushrooms
Garlic
Mrs. Dash No Sodium Seasonings

Directions:
Chop up onion and pepper and place in a hot pan.  Place the buffalo into another hot pan.  Put Mrs. Dash No Sodium seasonings into both pans.  While those are cooking, chop sage, oregano, basil, spinach and place in a bowl.  When the onions and peppers are about halfway cooked add the mushrooms and garlic into the mix.  Once the buffalo is fully cooked, carefully spoon it into the other pan making sure to leave as much grease/fat in the old pan as possible.  Once this is done, add the fresh herbs and fold them into the mixture, so that they wilt.  Add the kidney beans into this, and let cook for 5 more minutes until the beans soften up just a bit.

USNavy Mike: Hey Peter, Great clips and tips on your training regiment. I have been with my trainer for a few years now, and have seen some great muscle gains. Problem is, I've been having problems maintaining "clean" eating habits (see-saw) for as long as I've been working out with him. Do you think it's worth my time and money to further invest in a trainer, or postpone training with him until I can find it in myself to shed those 10-15 pounds? Your insight is greatly appreciated.

Peter Adonis: Dave, First of all, I have to say that I love your name 'Lift_or_Die,' very cool! I'm glad that the site has been helpful to you. Tell all of your friends about it! Don't 'fall off of the wagon' when you go on the cruise. Most cruise ships have state of the art gyms, so you can continue your training there. -Peter Adonis
